Have a portrait done of your children, new baby, family or pets. We have
several new packages that feature a hand painted photograph, which is Kari's
specialty. If you want a hand painted portrait it must be taken from black
& white film and has to be printed by hand on special art paper that can hold
the oil paint, so advise us ahead of time. Kari now is using a digital camera
because our lab that processed film closed. The digital images can be converted
from color to black & white or sepia but the converted black & white images
cannot be hand painted because they are printed on a different type of paper.
The minimum portrait order is $500 and sitting fees are excluded. Returning
clients will receive a 10% discount and the sitting fee is $50 at our studio
and $75 at the other locations.
Allow 3 to 6 weeks to complete your order, please order promptly! Christmas
or holiday cards should be ordered when you place your order from your photo
session. You can send us your message to be printed on the inside of the card.
The cards are a folded 5x7 and can be printed in full color, black & white or
sepia and are printed on an ivory linen-type paper and include a matching envelope.

The photographer automatically has a copyright for the images that he/she creates. Effective March 1, 1989, a valid copyright exists even though there is no notice of copyright on the photograph. A name, date, copyright symbol or other evidence of copyright is no longer required. All photographs which are the property of Kari Laine are protected by the Copyright Law.
